TREEHOUSE NDSM / 29-30 OCT

Treehouse NDSM is an arts incubator located in Amsterdam’s creative heart. Their goal is to foster the growth of creatives from diverse disciplines and help them bring their projects to life. They do this by offering 105 individual and affordable studios for rent, access to exhibition spaces, and the opportunity of being part of a vibrant artistic community.

This creative hotspot in the North of Amsterdam offers a diverse selection of comics and illustration. Alongside the market, this location also hosts performances, workshops, and food and drinks.

GWA aims to take the Dutch Graphic Heritage forward by conserving, restoring, and using letterpress material. All the machines work, there are no red cords around the antique machines. It’s all about spreading knowledge and keeping the beautiful craftsmanship alive.

Performance: The Electro Genocide by Visionair Ordinair

The galaxy is in rhythmic chaos and out of tune after the electro genocide took place, in which all electronic instruments and music have disappeared in the universe. The slightly grumpy sound detective Edwald Fisher bears the great responsibility of restoring the cosmic harmony. Like every decent sound detective, he starts by raising the mother of all questions: who has a motive? It takes him on a musical journey along wonderful characters such as the eternal number 2 dj Ben Neumann and the omniscient narrator Patty Whiteknuckels.

Review: An orchestral complexity, accompanied by the repeating, soul-boosting and uplifting thrills of elec-tro-nic dance music. **** Technotauris Times
